Weekend Plans

Although it's a June wedding, it's still Scotland... and as a wise man once said, there's no such thing as bad weather, just a bad choice of clothes.

Friday

The wedding party and other guests will be arriving on Friday evening, and staying on site or nearby.

The Laggan has a great bar and restaurant, with indoor and outdoor seating, where guests can meet for pre-wedding drinks and a catch up.

If you're planning to come along, please ensure to book a table and let us know, as there's no official arrangements.

Saturday

13:30 - Arrival at GG's Yard

14:00 - Ceremony

14:30 - Drinks Reception

16:00 - Seats & Speeches

17:00 - Dinner

20:00 - Party!

21:30 - Snacks

00:30 - Up eh road

Sunday

Hangover depending, there's a lot to do around Gatehouse of Fleet, and it's worthwhile making a weekend of the trip.

There's country walks, golf, beaches, Cardoness Castle and lots of nice eateries.

Although there are no official plans, the wedding party will all be around for the day, for better or worse, so check in nearer the time to see what's on.
